Paul Osman

Paul is the Tech Lead for the API & Integrations team at FreshBooks, an online billing service based in Toronto, Ontario. He's been writing software for just over a decade for commercial and academic organizations and specializes in using Open Source tool stacks to deliver robust and maintainable solutions.

At FreshBooks, Paul oversees the technical aspects of API development and uses open standards to further build out the platform, assisting integration partners in building add-ons for the FreshBooks service. He's a strong advocate for an open, interoperable web and encourages the adoption of technologies like OAuth, OpenID as well as open initiatives like Microformats and Webhooks.
